A member asked:

Im 17 f having iliopsoas tendonitis for 1.5 yrs. tried nsaids, pt, and steroid shots. not keen on surgery. any suggestions? streching is too painful.

Maybe.: Usually tendinitis in this area is self limited, but u need to stop doing any activity/exercise that aggravates the condition. Stretching is a must and can be facilitated by taking a hot bath/spa b4, and icing after, working with a massage therapist to do deep soft tissue massage. You may consider accupuncture and e-stim if you haven't tried those. Hang in there!
