What role does a neurologist play in diagnosing and treating crps (left leg below knee)?

Neurologist: Neurologists are very familiar with neuropathic pain - they can treat crps with a whole host of meds - antidepressant and anti-seizure. Also they are able to perform an EMG - may be able to differentiate crps from other conditions - periph neuropathy or lumbar radiculopathy.
