A member asked:

Crp 11.4 and rf 53 (up from 49, 2 years ago). pain in hips, from sitting to standing, and pivot, left knee dull ache. should i investigate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Inflammation: It seems that the CRP reflects mild to moderate inflammation somewhere. It is nonspecific. RF reflects autoantibody presence. Could be joint related. Could also be nonrelated to hip discomfort. I think deeper eval can help sort this out, yes. Then you and doc can know
