Your question?: You made a statement followed by a question mark.It is not clear what you are asking. The statement is troubling. This could be several things from an infected scalp sore or ringworm. It needs an evaluation.

Pus filled bumps: On the head in a 2 year old could only mean infection either from bug bites or tight braiding of the hair in some. He will need oral antibiotics to treat this. Good handwashing as always.

Scalp infection: It sounds like there is some kind of infection in your child's scalp, but before a full diagnosis can be made, one would have to see the lesions or at least know whether they are separate, clustered together, came sequentially or all at once, and whether there are lesions elsewhere on the body. With rashes or skin lesions, one look or good "picture is worth a 1000 words.".
