It is safe,: However, there are some drug interactions: xanax and lortab both increase sedation and drowsiness. Paxil (paroxetine) decreases effects of lortab by slowing drug metabolism. Rec.: to consult with the prescribing physician for any side effects, concerns or instructions of use.
