I just started taking paxil (paroxetine) yesterday i take it at 6 pm and want to know if taking a xanax 2 hours after will have any negative effects?

Do as your Doc Rx: There is no significant drug interaction that would be expected to happen between these medications. However, you should be sure that you are following your doctor's recommendation about taking these two medications. Frequently the xanax (alprazolam) is prescribed only as needed, at specific intervals and for a limited time period
