Some approaches: Some success can be achieved by use of motorized cervical traction, a rather common pt treatment. Discuss advisability with your doctor. If you have nerve pain, several drugs can help, including gabapentin, gralise, lyrica, cymbalta, and the opioid nucynta (tapentadol). Success may depend upon the extent of you nerve compression. Mri of neck may assist.

See a specialist: See a spine specialist. An MRI of the cervical spine can be useful. Conservative care includes pt, chiropractic, cervical traction, epidural injections and non steroidal anti-inflammatory meds. If these fail, surgery is often successful in relieving the pain.
