The American Academy: Of pediatrics recommends no tv/video viewing in children under 2 years, then limiting all screen time to a maximum of 2 hours/day. Studies show greater delays in language development the more time a child under 18 mos. Watches tv. Please read http://www.Healthychildren.Org/english/family-life/media/pages/why-to-avoid-tv-before-age-2.Aspx. Play with ; talk to your baby to promote development.

Addicted ???: Any kid that age should turn their head to see changing lights, colors, forms. It is not an addiction as much as a expected response. She should also turn her head to greet your spoken word. TV=bad. Mobile, colorful toys, direct visual contact with you=good.
