Does caffeine cause vasoconstriction, or vasodilation of the renal arteries?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vasoconstrict: The mechanisms of the kidneys are complex. Caffeine tends to cause vasoconstriction. The kidneys chemical mediators can counteract this effect however. Just like anything we take into our bodies you should use caffeine in moderation. Don't overdo it.
