Tincture of time: You will need time but you can also be proactive and work on "brain games".....Have you heard of www.Lumosity.Com? Lots of things you can do to sharpen your cognitive skills after any type of brain involvement from an infection, trauma, or even neurodegenerative disorder.

Some: It is difficult to predict how much recovery someone suffering from meningitis will have. It depends a lot on the degree of injury. Ofte, younger patients with meningitis who survive the initial infection will recover better, probably due to the amazing recovery powers of a child's brain. Still it is impossible to predict accurately. Therapy may help. Ongoing testing can tell if improving.
