Okay for most: This is a relatively low adult dose and exposure studies have shown it does enter the milk. Baby exposure is limited to 2-6% of the normalized adult dose. When an antidepressant is needed this has a better profile than some. Observation for occasional sedation is recommended at higher doses. See.
