Physiatrist: Seek out an interventional physiatry (or anesthesia) pain physician. It's really not that difficult to diagnose lumbar radiculopathy, though it takes someone with knowledge of all the other possible conditions that can mimic lumbar radic to know for sure that your pain is actually coming from a pinching/irritation of a nerve in the back. Physical exam and possibly MRI is needed. Vascular issue?
