Depends on variables: The average kid will have 5-6 respiratory tract infections per year up to the age of 5.Most of these are minor and self heal. Some are complicated by secondary infections that may require an evaluation and special treatment. If concerned, discuss the particulars with your doctors office and see if an evaluation is recommended.
