What is the probability of getting type 2 diabetes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Diabetes guidance: A tremendous determinant is genetics. The highest rate of DM is (in order): Pima Indians; Pacific Rim Asians; Blacks, Hispanics. It is also very prevalent in India and the Middle East. The predilection is genetic, the trigger tends to be obesity. A reduction in Insulin secretion mated with Insulin resistance is type II DM. There is also type I DM and type III DM (PDAC, PCOD, etc.)
