Possibly: The removal of impacted wisdom teeth can be very traumatic. Some are in such positions that it requires extended surgical time and more invasive technique. It can be a strain on the jaw, supporting structures, and tmj. However it will not misalign your jaw. If your jaw is misaligned and teeth are maloccluded, an orthodontist should be able to make some corrections. However, jaw surgery may be need.
