Only if it is not lo: Part of ibs is the bowel pattern and discomfort--but being sure there is no other underlying disorder, colitis, ileitis, endometriosis, adhesion from prior surgery to name a few--and then an understanding of food intolerances, role of medications, and local infections. If there is a change in your symptoms, please notify your provider!
