Diaphragm: Whoa. Two groups of muscles expand your lungs when you breathe. Your diaphragm fills your lungs and pushes your abdomen out. Your intercostal muscles expand the chest itself. There's all kinds of goofy superstitious stuff written about 'which is better.' Ignore it and breathe however you want.
