Maybe: Need to check with thye manufacturer's (of the plate) website to see if it is ferromagnetic or not.

Yes, but..: A stainless steel plate for fracture repair will affect imaging of that specific area. Some people can have sensations when getting the exam but most don't. Effects may be more significant on the stronger 3t magnets but most people notice little to nothing.
