Depaend on diagnosis: Usually a cardiologist will not treat either one. Sometimes your symptoms if you have heart disease may overlap with lung symptoms. A team approach is best. Also if one is not happy with a doctor always seek a second opinion. This is your health your talking about. Also a big difference from COPD or asthma. Need to distinguish one from the other.
