A member asked:

Could you tell me what is the percentage of oxygen returned to the heart after it leaves the lungs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Question is unclear: Oxygen saturation of arterial blood after it's left the lungs is 95-98%. Less than 90% is abnormal. Venous blood has an oxygen saturation in the range of 80% as it returns to the right side of the heart.
