Can any doc tell me what's the best type of medicine to take after you get your braces tightened?

Tincture of time: In a few days the tightness will disappear. In the meantime take 1 200mg advil/motrin?Ibuprofen every 4 hours with food or lots of liquids, rinse w 1tsp salt in 8oz warm water 3x/day, keep teeth and gums scrupulously clean (water pik helps), and eat a soft high-protein diet so that your body has the necessary building blocks.
