May alter test: When allergy testing you expose the mast cells that release histamine to possible allergins. If allergic there is a histamine release. It is this histamine that gives you the watery eyes, runny nose and general allergic feeling. Taking antihistamines during testing would likely blunt the release and probably alter the results making you seem less allergic to the allergn.
