Mono serology: You can do a spot test for heterophile antibody or send the blood to lab for it.You can also send the blood for epstrin barr antigen which is not normally present in blood.You can also do immunoglobulin m(igm)test which shows acute infection.Igg will be positive for past infection with mononucleosis.
