Allow for dressing: Wear short sleeve or loose shirt such as sweatshirt to allow for a bulky hand dressing splint or cast.

A 50-year-old member asked:
What do I wear to hand surgery? Are hey going to make me change into a hospital gown?

Ask surgical center: I recommend asking your particular center but they usually call you before the surgery date with this and other pertinent information. For example, clothing should be comfortable as you will change into a gown before entering the surgical area for sterility purposes.
