Not Used Anymore: Smallpox was the first viral illness to be eradicated due to the global use of the vaccine. It would be extremely rare to develop the rash as you indicated, since the smallpox vaccine is no longer given.

In 2006 I got the smallpox vaccine twice for deployment. I did not get a reaction either time. I was 19/20 at the time with no health issues or allergies. No idea why I never got a reaction when everyone else did?
