Check cuff: First, double check the cuff you are using. You can do this by verifying it at your doctors this week. The systolic (top number) is fair, but the diastolic (bottom number) is a little too high, even short term. You should avoid caffeine and other stimulants. I think you may have mis-typed your normal diastolic measurement. Go to er if short of breath, chest pain, dizzy.
