Hyperlipidemia: This is an interesting and much debatable subject. The answer depends on your risk factors for heart disease. Age is one of those risk factors, and you are high risk if you are over 45 for men and 55 for women. Other risk factors are gender (men have higher risk), smoking, blood pressure, and family history of heart disease. Without risk factors, this is a normal LDL level.
