4-8 weeks: It takes 4-8 weeks for finger fractures to heal. Once they have healed, your fingers will likely be stiff. You should be guided in some finger exercises by your doctor or therapist to get your hand moving normally again. If you are properly instructed on the exercises and you do them diligently, you should be back to using your hand normally relatively quickly.
