Depends on the state: In california docs can "recommend" marijuana but not "prescribe" but regulations vary state by state from forbidden to no doc needed. Klonopin (clonazepam) ; cannabis can both be sedating so that should be kept in mind but docs often prescribe more than one psychotropic agent. I feel cannabis is far safer than Klonopin (clonazepam) so i would hope patients on Klonopin (clonazepam) can wean off it while using cannabis to treat symptoms.

Klonopin/Marijuana: Empirically there is no problem taking Klonopin (clonazepam) and marijuana together. Medical marijuana is legal in certain states of the us. I practice in new jersey where medical marijuana is legal, and yes in certain patients, I have prescribed both.
