Type 1 dm: Insulin is the treatment for type 1 dm but metformin and the new drug class sglt-2 inhibitor can be used in type 1 as well.

None: No orals are approved for use in t1dm. That being said publushed studies have shown benefits for sglt2s metformin, glp1s and dpp4is.
