A member asked:

My doctor just detected a fetal choroid plexus cyst at 28 weeks. should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: Most of these are of no real consequence. If large and diverted significant blood flow from the fetus, it is possible to see some effect but this is rare. They can be seen even in the first trimester and likely just represent vascular anatomical variation of the placenta.
