There are others: Although research to date has shown no statistically significant direct correlation between exposure to burn pits and respiratory issues, the research is still continuing. Enter the registry so they can keep an eye on you, and discuss with your doc. Need gulf war exam: Many veterans who have served overseas, have a myriad of ailments. Registration w/the Gulf War registry & undergoing a Gulf war exam to access your medical condition as relates to your deployments is warranted. If your condition is due to military service, & is causing a disability, you may be eligible for disability compensation. Like any other potential disability, you have to file a claim.

VA: Check yourself in to the nearest VA hospital. Get a VSO (Veterans Serive Officer) from your local American Legion Post or Disabled American Veterans (DAV) post and start a service claim. DO IT NOW.
