Bipolar Disorder: If someone is accepting treatment for their bipolar disorder (taking prescribed medications and participating in therapy) the chances of a "maniac attack" are fairly low. If your daughter is not receiving treatment, you could help her see a psychiatrist who could evaluate and treat her.

Discuss with doc: Either her pediatrician if the diagnosis is to be explored or rules out as instead medically driven. Or visit her psychiatrist with your questions together with your daughter. Take care

BIPOLAR: If your daughter has a full-scale manic episode please call an ambulance to take her to the hospital. If she is too agitated for the paramedics the police can help you get her to the hospital.
