A member asked:

Can a little clot bubble that formed after iv cause serious harm like a pulmonary embolism or stroke?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: These little bubbles get into the veins all the time and cause no troubles. The bubbles that cause damage in scuba divers and caisson disease cause problem by a different mechanism.
