My husband has a mild case of adult acne, he wants to try vitamin e tablets for it. he is 25 and about 200 pounds how much should he take?

That's up to him: It might even work; i'd be surprised. He's free to take capsules as he pleases. In prospectcive randomized studies of adults supplementing with vitamin e, there was somewhat increased overall mortality compared with non-users but this shouldn't be a concern for a young guy. Topical benzoyl peroxide and intermittent tetracycline kept me okay until my acne remitted around age 50.
