If you have acne, and topical benzoyl peroxide hasn't cleared you in two weeks, your physician can help you find the right prescription medicine -- perhaps isotretinoin, a vitamin-a analogue. But the pop treatment of toxic vitamin a doses is dangerous and probably won't work as well as some simple stuff from your doctor.
