OK: As long as it doesn't produce too much gas or too many bowel movements, you should be ok with the 8oz. Of prune juice daily.

Listen to your body: How much sugar is in 8 oz? If you have elevated uric acid that much fruit sugar might be a problem. If you have weight around the middle that much sugar could aggrevate that problem unless you are getting plenty of exercise. There may be other ways for you to have good evacuations without using prune juice if it is problem for you.

MAYBE: Just likeany other juice, restrict to 4-8 oz/day. Careful if you are diabetic. It has fiber so it is good, make sure has no sugar added.
