Tips: Avoid caffeine in tea, coffee or chocolate which impair the ability of the stomach entrance to close. Try not to eat or consume a significant volume of fluids before laying down (stomach churning can push more reflux if full). Keep track of foods you realize increase your symptoms and avoid them or reduce the volume.Understand that this can be lifelong but quite manageable with these changes.
