A member asked:

Can getting my (upper right back molar) extracted change my face structure permanently? if so, is it enough for most people to notice?

Molar: No one will notice however extraction is not the best choice if the tooth can be saved. First molar occlusion can be problematic , the width of your jaw in that area will shrink 25-40 percent over five years(face change) and your bottom molar will erupt out of the socket (super eruption) trying to touch the molar you extracted potentially causing loss of that molar. Save it if you can.
