Ear wax & PND: There is no relationship between postnasal drip and ear wax build-up. Postnasal drip is usually due either to allergies or prolonged viral inflammation of the respiratory passages. The amount of wax in your ear is controlled by the genetically determined rate at which your ear canal clears wax, which can be slowed by things like using q-tips or having a hear aid.
