Stop and Breathe: Skin is a good barrier to infection. Just wash with soap and water. Infection happens blood to blood or semen to blood in the case of hepatitis b or c and hiv. If she worries then in twelve to twenty-four weeks she can get tested.

Yes: It is more important initially to know if the man has hepatitis or not, and if he is contagious. Your friends hepatitis test may not be conclusive for at least 6 weeks.
