Shoulder blade pain: It is tough to know exactly what this is. Sometimes a pinched nerve in the neck can refer to the area between the shoulder blades. A charlie horse type feeling can also be muscle spasm in the muscles between the shoulder blade. It should resolve. If it does not, i recommend that you see your doctor.

Two cm possibilities: If it is more on your right side/shoulder blade you should consider your gall bladder as the cause despite not having and pain. The other one is a muscle spasm from overuse of your rhomboid muscles which results commonly from poor posture. If you have no heart history nor issues with your stomach, you could try Motrin for the muscle irritation. Gall bladder requires an ultrasound.

Last night I had a sudden onset of a severe dull ache between my shoulder blades, kept me up all night. It hasnt subsided with any meds (Panado) its between shoulder blades to the right...no front chest pain,only slight cramp sensation now and then.
Pressure in chest, feels like a cramp. Sometimes extends to the shoulder/back. No other symptoms. Lasted for about 2 days.
