Modafinil is the: Medication approved for shift-worker sleep disorder. Brand names are Provigil and nuvigil. I don't know about the other.

More Options: Emotional or physiological stress may result in an alteration of the normal hair cycle rarely leading to the loss of large amounts of hair. This underlines how stressful shift work can be. It is not just your hair that is effected. This is a big warning sign. See a sleep dr, have accommodations made. Look at big picture, negotiate with the employer. You only have one life. > options then u think.

See a dermatologist: Telogen effluvium may be related to a variety of things. See if this is correct diagnosis. There are known causes to look for. Working at night is not a likely cause. When you go, be prepared to discuss menst history, any birth control, pregnancy, meds vits , herbs fevers, accidents, surgery, weight change, thyroid symptoms, etc.
