With normal..: Intake, and normal intestinal absorption, branch chain Amino Acid supplements are unnecessary. Even with liver failure such use is controversial. If you have a compelling need, discuss with your doc.

Not necessarily: Digestive efficiency is sometimes difficult to quantify. Bcaa aren't bad if you can afford them. Most likely you have an intolerance to one of the components, much like many people do who take larger quantities of l-arginine. Sometimes adding a digestive enzyme complex with your meals and supplements helps with better assimilation.
