A member asked:

What are the risks of getting a bone scan? if i'm allergic to the tracer could i die ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibility of death: Is rather rare from an allergy. Make sure you mention your allergies to the technician/rediologist. There are alternatives tracers which they might be able to. Use. Make sure you tell them. If they dont have alternatives they won't do the test. Otherwise risk for this procedure are very few. Good luck.
