Nasonex (mometasone): As long as you rinsed the eye well, there should be no problem.

Probably none: Nasinex should not cause any permanent eye damage. The only concern is that the eye probably will be red and sore for a bit. The best thing to do is to be sure to wash it out thoroughly as soon as possible. There is a small chance of infection so topical eye antibiotics for a few days would be a good idea.

Should be fine: I would watch for redness, swelling and any pustular drainage. It sounds like you did the right thing by washing his eye.

Read the label : If preservatives are in the nasinex, this could cause some minor irritation to the cornea of your child's eyes. So copious irrigation would be advisable, and check their eyes for redness or irritation until you can see the pediatrician or eye dr., especially if your child keeps rubbing his or her eyes. Thats a positive sign for irritation. Call thpediatrician's to see what can be done temporarily.
