A member asked:

What's the risk to a child who swallowed a little water from a public pool?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No additional risk: Being in pool water allows the contact of possible germs with mucous membranes, so if there's someone nearby with a viral illness, you're exposed. Drinking the water doesn't really change that risk, especially a small amount.
