Swallowing water: Hello. After swallowing a large amount of bath water, it is unlikely that drowning will occur. Unless the child aspirates or vomits this water up while sleeping, he/she should be fine. Remember that small children and toddlers could drown in an inch of water so please don't allow your child to be in the tub unattended. Accidents can happen in a split second so prevention is always the best policy.
