Urinary tract: You have a urinary tract infection separate from any candida issues. You need antibiotics. A good naturopath would have started there. I think a second opinion is mandatory in your situation!

Urgency where?: Is the urgency bowel or bladder? If there is a suspicion of candida, there is good treatment for that and cutting out sugar and dairy will not help. Start with your regular family doctor and find out what is actually happening with your body.

Never ?: By definition, "alternative" is different than modern western medicine. Generally any drug, herb, treatment, or procedure that stands up to rigorous scientific scrutiny is included in modern medicine. The problem is that many alternative practices, herbs etc do not stand up to scientific scrutiny and cannot be shown to work. They therefore remain "alternative". Be careful. See a real doctor .
