Things to consider:: Are you drinking enough water? Are you eating enough fat? Both are necessary for "lubrication". Are you eating enough vegetables? Are you taking probiotics? Have you ruled out other causes of constipation like thyroid disease. You should follow-up with your doctor and speak to your nutritionist about next steps.

Fluid/veggies: Eat more vegetables and drink more fluids. You need about 7-9 servings of veggies a day to get the fiber to help with constipation. You also need about 45-60 ounces of fluid ( preferably water) a day to help the fiber work so you're not constipated.
